‍ ‍ ‍ This fan-made music video for Bruno Mars’ “Perm” was filmed in a single take on SCAD Savannah’s Backlot. Aaliyah developed and dressed a vibrant flea market set using artwork, clothing, props, and sculptures sourced from fellow SCAD students, creating a space that highlighted their work and talents. When a construction area threatened to appear in the shot, she coordinated student artists to design and create a custom 50-by-80-foot set piece that concealed the site while adding visual interest to the environment. The completed music video was later used by SCAD to promote the Backlot to Hollywood and other film productions. ‍
